CHET ERICKSON

Chet was born and raised in Star Valley, Wyoming. He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He then attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 1998. After working in southern California for 3 years, he was excited to return home to practice. He returned to Wyoming in the spring of 2001 and joined Greg Burton as a partner at Aspen Physical Therapy. Chet purchased Greg’s portion of the business, including offices in both Afton and Thayne, WY. Chet has volunteered time and professional services to the youth in the community by assisting the injured athletes at SVHS during football, wrestling, and various other sports activities. Chet has attended the state wrestling tournament for over 10 years and traveled to countless football games around the state for the past 21 years. Chet has taken continuing education courses every year including functional exercise/movement and athletic injuries. He recently attended a course for specialized orthopedic approaches to the shoulder. Chet enjoys camping, hunting, and spending time with his family. He likes to ride motorcycles and horses on the trails around Star Valley. Chet feels blessed that he can live in this area and help take care of the people of Star Valley.

JARED ROSE

Jared, born and raised on a small farm in Morgan, UT, attained his Bachelors of Science degree from Weber State University, then was accepted to Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. He enjoys treating a wide variety of ages and pathologies from adolescence to geriatrics in the areas of outpatient orthopedics and home health.   Special interests include Blood Flow Restriction training, rehab following orthopedic surgery, return to sport for injured athletes, and core/stability training. Jared feels it is important to not only treat the injury and pain in the clinic, but is just as important to enable people to continue healing at home. He does this utilizing home exercise programs, education, and load management principles. Jared uses a combination of manual therapy techniques as well as exercise principles to help patients achieve their therapy goals.

Jared’s interests including watching sporting events at all levels, a love of fitness, and a burning passion for the outdoors. He has a wonderful family including a beautiful wife, and 4 children.

Jared is in his fourth year of practicing in the outpatient orthopedic section of physical therapy and is certified in blood flow restriction training.
